Shabazz Student Support Staff

The primary purpose of the support staff is to support the creation of environments and system of supports that maximize opportunities for learning and wellbeing to ensure that all students develop the knowledge, skills, and habits needed to achieve personal success as a college, career, and community ready individual. 

Our Student Support Staff includes:

  • a full time School Counselor and Social Worker
  • a part-time School Psychologist
  • A School Nurse and Nursing Assistant who divide their time between Shabazz High School and Sherman Middle School.

The team, as a whole, advocates for positive change in our quest for a safe joyful learning environment and educational equity.  If you have questions about student support services at your Shabazz, contact the school and you will be connected to someone who can help.
