Wednesday, February 20, 2019 is the day that all grade 11 students in the state of Wisconsin will take the ACT. This will be a "JUNIORS ONLY" day.
There will be no school for freshmen, sophomores, and seniors on February 20, 2019.
All juniors will have the opportunity to show their academic learning and growth when they take the ACT. This test provides a measurement of college and career readiness in English, mathematics, reading, science, and writing. Scores from this test may be reported to colleges to support student applications for admission. The ACT is a state-mandated test that all students are required to take. Whole school scores are reported to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, and calculated into the state school report cards.
There are a number of reasons to take the ACT, including keeping college options open, winning scholarships, and even appealing to potential employers.
Students will prepare for the test during lunch the week of February 11-15.
