On Wednesday, January 22 students will partake in a Career Fair in the morning and a Celebration of Learning in the afternoon. Shabazz families are invited to attend our afternoon celebration and see first hand some of the incredible learning our students have done this year. 

Career Fair - 8:45 - 11:30 am

Organized by Shabazz Junior Laila Freeman and our Leadership class, our Career fair will include community professionals representing various career choices. Students will have the opportunity to ask about the presenters' journey and to find out the good and not-so-good aspects of the career of choice. 

Community Lunch - 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

A Celebration of Learning - 12:30 - 2:15 pm - EARLY RELEASE

Here is the lineup so far:

  • Viewings of student animation projects,
  • A display of original student art in the Gallery, 
  • Original horror stories, 
  • "Museum" exhibits of various countries through the world,
  • Several tri-fold exhibits from the Anatomy and Physiology class
  • Slideshow from the Photography and Phenology class,
  • Visuals representing environmental action projects
  • A walk through of projects related to Native American history
  • A slideshow presentation of Anatomy and Physiology research

No need to RSVP. Just come to the Main Office or follow the signs.
